On the go and still editing.

Being an app addict can sometimes cost a few more bites and bytes than you in fact have available on your device. And now I have done it again! I have yet again downloaded one of these many apps that is available and able to do the same thing like 17 previous apps can do.

This one for instance is an Idevice blogspot app, that allows me to post to my blogger blogs on the go.

But I can do that anyway with 2 or 3 other apps, and I can also e-mail to my blogs and that way post my nonsens.

So why do I do this?

Because I can!

It is all about space!

So here we are away from Hong Kong and can see how they've got much more of what we haven't got; space. But still here in Singapore, they have to build rooftop pitches and sport grounds. It is just that here they can build a full size soccer pitch, with stands. And it isn't even all you can see here, no in fact there is another seven aside pitch on the left side, it just didn't fit into the picture.

This is just so epic, isn't it?...Eagles of Death Metal.

Great visuals and dynamic editing. Is one of those concerts I really would have enjoyed going to.

Untold stories from the archive. "The Sisyphus experience".

My very first experience on a surf board was at Seminyak Beach in Denpasar on the island of Bali in November 2011. It was a struggle and a highly frustrating experience. As a complete beginner, I spent most of the time just trying to get out to the waves and the fun, but finally arriving there and try getting up on the board? Sorry mate, not this time either and slam, on your nose in the salty water again. Roll around in the waves, finding your feet and board. Orientate in the water; what is up and down, which way is the shore and which way the waves.

Like the myth of Sisyphus, the Greek or Corinth king who was punished by the gods and forced to carry or push a huge rock up a mountain, only to see it roll back down again, and doing so over and over again through his whole life. That was how I felt like those days on that surf board.
As you can see, I did manage to stand on that board sometimes, but not for long.
One thing did give me an adrenalin kick though, and that was the day I was allowed to take a tour on the beach cleaning tractor, what a treat for a frustrated surfer.

Sehr sehr lange her, aber jetzt richtig!

Es war summer, es war schoen und es war das erste mal! Und das erste mal wird mn nie vergessen oder?
Ich war in die USA gereist um an einen Konferenz teilzunehmen. Professionelle entwicklung. Schoen war es aber das der Konferenz gleich am anfang unseren Summer Urlaub waren. Na Klar, packen wir gleich fuer einem Monat, und nach San Diego - wo der konferenz stattfand- haben wir gleich San Fransisco besucht, und danach einen kleinen Road Trip gen Norden eingebaut, nach Seattle.
Und auch nach Memphis, um Elaine wieder zu sehen. Das ist aber eine ganz andere geschichte, und wuerde ich das hier erzahlen, waere es ja gleich noch ganze zwei jahre ohne einen eintrag hier im Blog, und das waere je echt schade, ne?
